A class recommended for beginners or those who prefer less complicated
choreography. This class combines any combination of traditional low impact aerobics, step aerobics, kickboxing, or slide in an easy-to-follow format.

BOOT CAMP
|
A high-intensity class involving bursts of cardio mixed with strength
training. For the advanced exerciser.

|
CARDIO KICKBOXING
|
Comparable to Tae-Bo as seen on TV; involves kicking and punching moves
which improve speed and balance. Firms the total body and will leave you sweaty and exhilarated! Modifications are shown for those unfamiliar with some of the basic moves.

GETTING STARTED
|
A very low impact class recommended for beginners; an informational
exercise and stretching class for the brand new exerciser or those with special needs.

|
INSTRUCTOR'S CHOICE
|
In this class, the individual instructor may pick from any of the above
classes depending upon the level of fitness of the people attending.

KID FITNESS
|
A class designed for children 4-14. It involves a lot of
activity, but the kids love it!

ON THE BALL
|
A 30 minute exercise class on the ball. It includes all muscle
groups (back, chest, abs, and quads.) Takes elements from two traditional exercise concepts and incorporates them for a totally new and better workout.

PILATES
|
Pilates, founded by Joseph Pilates, is derived from Yoga and dance

Intro to Pilates: A class that concentrates on the
fundamentals of Pilates exercise. A must for anyone interested in becoming involved in Pilates classes.

Beginning Pilates: Are you reaady to leave Intro to Pilates but nervous about taking a "real" Pilates class? This class is designed just for you. Lots of good review on the fundamentals, with a little more time spent on strengthening exercises.

|
Intermediate Pilates:
Okay, now you have the fundamentals down pat. Still, the idea of taking an "Advanced" class is a little scary. Pilates 2 will still show modifications while challenging you with glimpses of advanced moves.

|
Advanced Pilates:
A class that is geared toward exercisers with knowledge of the fundamentals of Pilates. The class moves a little faster with less time spent on fundamentals and the showing of modifications.

STEP

Intro to Step:
A great class to learn the basics, this class is for those who are new to Step. The basic moves are taught with simple choreography.
|
|
Basic Step:
A class recommended for beginners or those who prefer less complicated choreography. In this class you will learn the basic moves and terminology while getting a low impact, high energy workout.

Intermediate Step:
A great transition class to move from Basic Step to Extreme Step.
|
|
Step & Flex:
A class designed to include both cardio and weight training. Starts with thirty minutes of intermediate step followed by 30 minutes of upper body weight training (chest, biceps, triceps, back and shoulders).

|
Extreme Step:
An advanced level class incorporating aspects of cardiovascular training and some conditioning.
|
|
STRENGTH TRAINING
|
Is an incredible new concept. It is a one-hour instructor-lead
exercise class with barbells.
It is choreographed to music, and includes warm-up and cool-down segments. This class is appropriate for most levels of fitness. The barbell is variable and allows for individual weight selection. You must sign up for this class 15 minutes in advance at the front desk.

X-TRAINING
|
A class recommended for the intermediate exerciser. This class
combines any combination of traditional high/low aerobics, step aerobics, kickboxing, or slide. The choreography of this class is more complicated than the Basic X-Training classes.

YOUNG AT HEART
|
A gentle exercise class with elements of cardio, strength, and
flexibility. Modifications are shown for exercising while standing or seated. (Formerly called Seniors)
